Brett Buckley, MBA, CPM, FAMI
Born in Adelaide, Australian national. Brett Buckley is and has a long established and enviable record of success in leading and managing organisations within the sectors of large private organisations, publicly listed organisations and local government. Additional to this, Brett has experience in managing and leading start-up enterprises, and has on three occasions been an owner operator of a small to medium enterprise (SME). Brett’s senior leadership experience spans six industries over almost three decades including, snackfood manufacture, office supplies, logistics, event production, waste management and most recently health. In a number of Brett’s roles he has participated in, and led, significant change management and revitalisation processes. Further, Brett has a strong history in mergers and acquisitions in multiple industries. Brett’s ability to craft and implement visionary and conceptual strategic plans has seen the organisations under his guidence experience sustainable and profitable growth. Additional to his commercial leadership experience, Brett has experienced leadership roles in the Australian Defence Force as a section commander in an Infantry battalion and a detachment commander in a signals squadron. Brett has served on operations overseas and been awarded a commanders commendation. Brett has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurial Management, a Diploma of Project Management, a Diploma of Marketing is a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM) and a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI). When combined with his well-established leadership experience and commercial acumen, these qualifications have allowed Brett to develop a strong technical competence.
